Before submitting your manuscript, please follow all the JFR Guidelines. The JFR only accepts submissions of original works that have not previously been published or are currently under consideration/review at other journals. We use Crossref Similarity Check by iThenticate to ensure that each manuscript is original. Any works found to be in whole or in part a duplication of any other work(s) (including those of the submitting author[s]), without appropriate citation will be desk rejected.
Step 2
The main manuscript must be anonymized with all author names and affiliations removed and in an acceptable format (MS Word file or LaTeX). A separate title page in MS Word should include author names, affiliations, addresses for correspondence including email addresses, acknowledgements, and disclosure(s) of funding, if applicable.
Step 3
Payment of submission fees may be made by credit card or debit card. Initial submission fees are $250 for members of the Southern Finance Association or Southwestern Finance Association, or $300 for non-members. Submissions of requested revisions that require an additional referee report require payment of the $250 SFA/SWFA member submission fee. Select the appropriate payment link below to be directed to the payment site. Proof of payment will be required as part of the online submission process.
