
Erik Devos

Dr. Erik Devos received his Ph.D. from Binghamton University, State University of New York, and has since been affiliated with Ohio University and is currently Associate Dean of Faculty Development and Professor of Finance at the University of Texas at El Paso. He holds the J.P. Morgan Chase Professorship in Business Administration. His research interests are mainly in corporate finance and real estate, and he has published in journals such as Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Corporate Finance, Financial Management, and Real Estate Economics. He serves as an associate editor of Financial Review and is a member of the American Finance Association, the Eastern Finance Association, the Financial Management Association, the Southern Finance Association, the American Accounting Association, the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association, and the American Real Estate Society.

William B. Elliott

Dr. William B. Elliott received his Ph.D. from the University of Arizona. Prior to joining John Carroll University as Professor and the Edward J. and Louise E. Mellen Chair in Finance, he held faculty positions at the University of Texas at El Paso, Oklahoma State University, and the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh. He has research interests in stock splits, security issuance, capital structure, valuation, executive compensation, and mergers. His work has been published in premier journals, such as the Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Business, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Financial Intermediation, Financial Management, and Journal of Corporate Finance. He has presented his work at numerous conferences and universities. He is a member of the American Finance Association, the Eastern Finance Association, the Financial Management Association, and the Southern Finance Association.

Murali Jagannathan
Associate Professor of Finance

Dr. Murali Jagannathan received his Ph.D. from Virginia Tech. He is currently an Associate Professor at Binghamton University, State University of New York. He has previously held faculty positions at the University of Missouri and the University of Texas–Arlington. His research interests are primarily in the areas of payout policy and corporate governance. His research has been published in the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Financial Management, and Journal of Corporate Finance. He currently serves as an associate editor of Financial Review.
